FunFam 18542: Putative NTP pyrophosphohydrolase

There are 3 EC terms in this cluster

Please note: EC annotations are assigned to the full protein sequence rather than individual protein domains. Since a given protein can contain multiple domains, it is possible that some of the annotations below come from additional domains that occur in the same protein, but have been classified elsewhere in CATH.

Note: The search results have been sorted with the annotations that are found most frequently at the top of the list. The results can be filtered by typing text into the search box at the top of the table.

EC Term Annotations Evidence
8-oxo-dGTP diphosphatase. [EC: 3.6.1.55]
8-oxo-dGTP + H(2)O = 8-oxo-dGMP + diphosphate.
  • This enzyme hydrolyzes the phosphoanhydride bond between the alpha and beta phosphate of 8-oxoguanine-containing nucleoside di- and triphosphates thereby preventing misincorporation of the oxidized purine nucleoside triphosphates into DNA.
  • It does not hydrolyze 2-hydroxy-dATP (cf. EC 3.6.1.56).
4 A0A162QV95 A0A1B2ATQ6 L8AB03 P96590
Diadenosine hexaphosphate hydrolase (ATP-forming). [EC: 3.6.1.61]
(1) P(1),P(6)-bis(5'-adenosyl)hexaphosphate + H(2)O = 2 ATP. (2) P(1),P(5)-bis(5'-adenosyl)pentaphosphate + H(2)O = ATP + ADP. (3) P(1),P(4)-bis(5'-adenosyl)tetraphosphate + H(2)O = ATP + AMP.
  • The enzyme hydrolyzes P(1),P(4)-bis(5-guanosyl) tetraphosphate very slowly (cf. EC 3.6.1.17).
3 A0A0K6KQZ7 A0A0K6MB33 U1Z471
ADP-ribose diphosphatase. [EC: 3.6.1.13]
ADP-D-ribose + H(2)O = AMP + D-ribose 5-phosphate.
