Superfamily: Target recognition domain of lytic exoenzyme

This entry represents a domain found downstream the catalytic domain of various lytic enzymes, such as peptidase M23 and phage lysins. Its structure could be described a short half beta-barrel. It is composed of strands of an antiparallel beta-sheet with one short helix at the C-terminus. It is preceded by a random coil PMID:23184858.
