Cyclase-associated proteins (CAPs) are widely distributed and highly conserved proteins that regulate actin remodeling in response to cellular signals. The N termini of CAPs play a role in Ras signaling and bind adenylyl cyclase whilts the C termini bind to G-actin and thereby alter the dynamic rearrangements of the microfilament system PMID:15558566.

This entry represents the N-terminal domain of CAP proteins. This domain has an all-alpha structure consisting of six helices in a bundle with a left-handed twist and an up-and-down topology PMID:12962635.
