Superfamily: 60S ribosomal protein L36

The name for this superfamily has been chosen based initially on the UniProt-SwissProt entries which agree in the description of members of this superfamily as being structural domains in the 60S ribosomal protein L36. This is further backed up with both GO term entries and available PDBs with domains in this superfamily. The later show how these structural domains are found in the 80S ribosome, which in addition might explain the great number of structural domains that comprise this superfamily.
