"
ATP synthase (C/AC39) subunit, domain 3
".

Functional Families

Overview of the Structural Clusters (SC) and Functional Families within this CATH Superfamily. Clusters with a representative structure are represented by a filled circle.

Superfamily: ATP synthase (C/AC39) subunit, domain 3

PFAM:PF01992:

shared residue % and shared protein % are both >~90. Name can be imported with reasonable confidence.

PDBe entries for PDB ids 1v9m and 1r5z indicate the superfamily is made up of helices from the N-terminal and C-terminal domains of PFAM:PF01992. The literature associated with 1r5z refers to this superfamily as the 'third domain'.

As such, the name has been imported from the Pfam, and domain 3 has been added as per the literature PMID:14684831
