Having Trouble?

PROBLEM: Netscape Navigator complains that your email address is not valid

Set your email address.
Preferences -> Mail & Newsgroups -> Identity
Type in your email address in the correct box.

Set your email address as the anonymous FTP password.
Preferences -> Advanced
Click on button to 'Set your email address as the anonymous FTP password'.

Command Line Option 'ftp'

Command line ftp instructions: (type return after each command)

ftp
open ftp.biochem.ucl.ac.uk
[username - type: 'anonymous']
[password - type your email address]
cd pub/cathdata/v2.4/
bin
ls
get <filename>

get <filename>
close

<filename> = Useful CATH Data can be obtained from (e.g. $VERSION = v2.4):

• CathDomainList.$VERSION
• CathDomainDescriptionFile.$VERSION
